What guarantee will I have?

Our guarantee to you on all our programmes is that we will work with you for as long as you need until you get the results you want. At your first session you and your consultant will agree your objectives for your programme- for example, to change career, to be confident about your job search or to find a new job and settle into it successfully. We will set a target date by which we will aim to complete the programme with you. But, provided you come to meetings regularly and commit to the process, we will stay with you for as long as you need in order to achieve your goals.

What is your success rate?

We measure our success based on whether our clients feel that the time and money that they have spent with Career Energy was a worthwhile investment. We ask all clients to complete a feedback assessment when their programme draws to an end. To date, 94% of clients who responded have said that they were very happy with the service they received from Career Energy.

Will you provide me with a network of contacts and access to the unadvertised job market?

We have around 3,000 past and present clients and will try to introduce you to those who may be able to help you find the right job, or who can give you information on the industry they work in. We hold regular networking evenings to which we invite all our clients. But we will not sell you our services by pretending to have a hidden network of decision makers to which you will have access once you enrol as a client. You should challenge any company who does make such a claim.

Nevertheless, there is no doubt that most people find their jobs through word of mouth, networks or by making speculative approaches to companies. Many surveys have confirmed this. However, although some people talk about the "unadvertised job market", we feel this terminology is misleading. It suggests that there is a secret place, known only to a select few, where jobs can be more easily found. Obviously, this is not the case.

Most people are reactive in their job search, they wait for jobs to be placed with recruitment consultants or advertised in the newspaper. Such openings may not arise often and the competition can be immense. There are proactive ways of identifying job opportunities. We will help you to plan and implement a creative job search campaign, by getting your ear to the ground, and your name out and about in your chosen field.

How do you decide which personal consultant to allocate to me?

We like to meet you or talk to you before you enrol on a programme. This allows us to get to know a bit about you and to ensure that we allocate you a consultant who we feel will be right for you.

How do you differ from your competitors?
  1. All our consultants are qualified career professionals. Having a few grey hairs and being good at giving advice is not enough.

  2. We believe in being open and transparent. We publish all our prices, we do not ask you to come in for two or three meetings before revealing the cost.

  3. We do not charge you by the hour, nor do we limit you to a fixed number of meetings. We charge you a single fee and stay with you until you achieve your outcomes, however long it takes.

  4. All our testimonials are genuine and original copies can be inspected at our offices.
